This painting of the river walk captures the waterfront restaurants in Wilmington, North Carolina along the Cape Fear River. I really enjoyed changing up my usual color palate for these deep grays and rich dark blues. I love the way that the warm reflections and romantic glow of this painting expresses the perfect summer night. It was a beautiful clear night, and it is still one of my favorite Wilmington memories.
